INTRODUCTION OF THE 3 BEST START UP's
nominated from the Expert Jury out of all applications!
AMAZEMET Sp. zo.o. /Poland
REVOLUTION IN MATERIALS DESIGN
Welcome to amazing world of metalic powders and additive manufacturing!
AMAZEMET is a Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) spin-off developing technologies for ultrasonic metallurgy especially 3D printing powder production. It has the unique, for a startup, business model combining sales of its own products and IP-licensing for new market development. The company has been founded in 2019 by alumni of WUT from the faculties of Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering. Main drive for the development of ultrasonic atomization technology was limited number of commercially available powders for Metal AM. The company employs 21 people including 5 scientist. Start-up owns 16 patents and applications protecting our solutions.
The main axis of activity is equipment supporting 3D printing from metals, creating a production line “from raw materials to finished product”. This consists of our own products: rePowder – a device for the production of powders for 3D printing, safeEtch – a device for automating the support removal and surface refinement of prints and inFurner – an affordable vacuum oven for processing prints. We also offer specialized customer support in his R&D needs developing devices tailored to the customer needs.
MetShape GmbH /Germany
PRINTING METALS IN ULTRA PRECISION
Your expert for additive manufacturing of small and micro metal parts!
MetShape is a production service provider specializing in sinter-based additive manufacturing of small and micro metal component.
The idea for the foundation of MetShape was developed during a research project that focused on the recycling of magnets which was carried out at the University of Applied Sciences Pforzheim. During this project, the Lithography-based Metal Manufacturing (LMM) technology was developed. This technology makes it possible to print high-precision metal components with exceptionally good surfaces.
MetShape GmbH has developed very successfully since its foundation and now consists of 9 employees. Additionally, MetShape has become an expert in sintering.-. With our unique know-how above the whole process chain of the sinter-based technology, MetShape offers ready-to-use, high-quality metal components that can be used for series applications.
URWAHN Bikes / Germany
THE REVOLUTION MADE WITH 3D PRINTING
Since December 2017, we have been shaping tomorrow’s urban mobility in an appropriate and sustainable context with a passion for design, function and high technology. For our mission, we combine metallurgical 3D printing (SLM) with lean manufacturing for holistic mobility approaches considering complex user needs. In this way, we can create the first e-bikes mass-produced with 3D printing “on-demand” and “just-in-time” in Germany. URWAHN has launched the first integrative e-bike mass-produced using metallurgical 3D printing based on lean manufacturing principles.
We break with tradition and think outside the box! Flat hierarchies, transparent work structures, a crazy team of visionaries and the use of unconventional methods and technologies are part of our daily business.
Interdisciplinary complemented by a variety of qualitative industry and cooperation partners, we combine product development, manufacturing and production as well as business field development in Germany.
URWAHN currently employs 11 people in sales, marketing, research and development, and production.
